About:
Cox came into the senior side in round 10 after playing in seven games at the VFL level.  He was involved in consecutive wins before playing back in the VFL side.  Cox reappeared at the AFL level in round 21 and played the next four games including finals.  Two consecutive games of 20 disposal performances showed the 
coaching staff he has what it takes to play at that level. Having been elevated off the rookie list at the end of 2006, Cox debuted in round three against Richmond and finished the season with eight senior appearances to his name, and showed he is certainly not out of his depth at senior level. Capped his year by being one of Williamstown's best in the preliminary final loss, and looks to have a bright future.  In 2008 he played 16 games for the VFL side but also managed six at the senior level taking his career tally to 14.
